Jo 'Tinks' Borras - JoJo
The leader of The MoJos, Jo's love for music started whe she was 5 years old, singing along to her Dad's old records and trying to recreate the harmonies from bands such as 'Queen'. She joined her first band at 13 called 'Double Yellow Line' and was very quickly recording and playing gigs in her hometown of Cambridge. She then formed another that placed 5th in the Cambridge Rock Group Competition. (Tacky Trophy Included)
From 16-21 she sold her soul to WEA records with Steve Levine and spent these years singing in a number of venues such as the Hippodrome in London.
At age 26, Jo began teaching and began to conduct choirs at Sadler's Wells.
Currently singing with the MoJos and was also the singer for successful Milton Keynes based blues band, "The 2120s".
Jo operates a successful teaching business 'Sing and Perform' where she helps people of all ages to build confidence and help improve their singing ability.
